It was a nice early wake up call with the alarm going off at 3.15am to make sure we leave enough time to have that coffee boost and a short 2hour 45 min drive to an event that Im not even competing in the elites devision and am only really there to support the rest of Obstacle Racing Victoria and maybe get a pottering lap in. The elites set off first and we thought we would try something new and broadcast live on periscope, both the start of the event as well as the elite finishes. Mad Cow was a great event to test these new fangled technologies. It was weird receiving messages from all over the world including France, America and the UK. It was a great testing ground and one that I hope we will be doing for future OCRL races across Australia, just trying to figure out all the little bit and pieces first, in which I thought I actually saved but obviously not when going back to them now (lesson learnt).
